Mission 2: Circular economy

Building a circular economy is about decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation by “doing more and better with less”.

Using less of the Earth’s finite resources, minimising pollution and cutting waste are central to circularity. Reducing the material and carbon footprint of our solutions will also deliver a positive impact against climate change.

To help build a circular economy, we aim for zero waste at our campus in Veghel by 2030 and globally by 2040. In addition, we are:

  • teaming up with customers and suppliers to design circular solutions
  • switching to non-virgin and recyclable materials
  • and looking for life-cycle extensions by optimising processes for repair, reuse and remanufacture.

We’re also developing proper documentation to provide insights into the environmental footprint of our products.

“We firmly believe that integrating circular economy design principles into our solutions enables us to minimise our reliance on raw materials, enhance the resilience of our supply chain, and unlock new business prospects for both our customers and ourselves.”
